Eh
I really enjoyed this podcast for the first season. After that I have been less than impressed. I download each episode and some I listen to, some I don’t. I did not enjoy the format of a case an episode because it’s all jus the same questions of the same people over and over. I live in Iowa so I was excited to see a podcast centered here but now I’ve not been as interested as I was initially. Also, the sound quality on the last episode I listened to was atrocious. He’s explaining it in this episode but honestly, he’s kind of blaming it on a lot of things when in reality, it sounded like he was chewing his food directly in to the microphone, very unprofessional. Lastly (and I’m sure I’ll get some flack for this) he finds a way to work the fact that he was molested when he was 12 years old into EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. It always starts with ‘I don’t know if you know this but...’. Fun fact, I don’t listen to the podcast to hear about him, I listen to hear about the case. I appreciate that for most part his analysis of the cases is pretty objective but when he gets the commentary I tend to tune out.

More reviews of Suspect Convictions
Looking very much forward to where this podcast is going. I like the way they have given background on all the people involved. Letting you see a glimpse into their lives before this tragedy occurred. Keep up the good work!

I think it's important for everyone to at least be aware of Jennifer Lewis' case and appreciate all the work that is still being done to help put this to...Read full review »

With so many true crime podcasts popping up, this one stood out to me because of the quality of the storytelling. I never get the odd, exploitive vibes that linger in some other shows... but the music and abrupt ad placements can be jarring at times
