Description
In this episode, I talk with Apurv who retired from corporate in his 40´s. So what has that got to do with first-time leadership? Well for any leader, be that a first-timer or a veteran, it´s vital to explore what comes next and to build the muscle of personal renewal. Tips from Apurv; 1. Let´s assume that you are an achiever, so there is no risk of “non-delivery” when you “hand in your badge”. 2. The hard part is to do the introspection, to give yourself the space - like good wine you have to let yourself breathe. 3. And it´s never about the money – make the excel sheet work for you. 4. Realise that you change over time and get comfortable with that. 5. And for homework – Can you define what early retirement means for you?To read more about Apurv´s approach, see http://www.apurvnagpal.com/ and https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/what-one-tells-you-early-retirement-apurv-nagpal/ Thanks for listening, and if you think this can help a colleague, please share.
