“Using the primary source material of phone calls and recordings of the crimes is thrilling and makes for great storytelling. However, the host, Mike, spends ~20% of each episode editorializing on things like mental health, gender identity, or the justifiability of crimes. He is also regularly complaining about people trying to cancel him. The fear-mongering and exploitative way mike writes and talks about crime leads me to believe he singularly wants me to be afraid of my loved ones and the mentally ill. So much so I felt I needed to write this review lol. I like the show even though that annoys me, but I never recommend it to anyone.”
