This episode's guest is none other than Meline Gharibyan, one of the most prominent photographers in the hardcore scene the last years.

We talk about her journey from Yerevan, Armenia to Orlando, USA and eventually to Leeds, UK, her involvement in the hardcore/punk movement, the UK scene, her PHD in history and, obviously, her great passion, photography.

In this session we talk about the current status of the European hardcore scene and its promising growth the last few years. From Germany to Italy and from Scandinavia to Benelux, the scene is blooming, and there’s new bands popping up all over every month.

This episode’s guest is Nick Tronckoe (2nd part of the episode) from the Ghent based collective Return Bookings. Formed in-between the Covid19 lockdowns, Return Bookings have managed to be the leading force when it comes to hardcore/punk/metal and independent music concerts in their area.
We discuss with Nick about his involvement in the scene, Ghent’s hardcore history and Return Bookings’ initiative Eurocore Fest, taking place on 24th and 25th May 2024.

The new German hardcore scene (especially its Western part) is definitely on the rise, with bands varying from Echo Chamber to Face Your Fears and from Spirit Crusher to Mortal Form, among tens of others.
In this episode we have the pleasure to host Yannick as a guest, a multi-instrumentalist playing literally in half a dozen of the new Deutsche hardcore bands, including Echo Chamber, Force Of Denial, Reflex, Spark and Suspect.
