Muslim Feminists & Red Pilled Brothers?: What is Happening?

Muslim Feminists & Red Pilled Brothers?: What is Happening?

Uh-oh… this episode, we're coming with that HEAT!

Between feminist hijabis and red-pilled brothers, we're just trying to figure out what in the world is going on. Nah, like for real, what is happening?
In our times, we see a rise in sisters pushing back against gender norms with the advent of feminism, and many are frankly no longer interested in "traditional" gender roles. However, many brothers have also been feeling some type of way, no longer being served tea, and now being told to wash their own dishes. Red-pilled, self-proclaimed "alphas" are barking back, after being called dogs one too many times.
In this hilarious (semi-triggering) episode, Idris and Abdikarrim get real, praying they don't get canceled, and they air it all out, telling it how it is. Recounting exactly what they observe within our generation and the challenges we collectively face.
    Enjoy! 😅

Who You Tryna Impress?: From Seeking Approval to Losing Your Way

Who You Tryna Impress?: From Seeking Approval to Losing Your Way

Often times we find ourselves living our lives constantly looking to garner the approval and validation of others. So much so that the school we choose, the spouse we marry, the cars we drive down to the shoes we wear are selected with this in mind. This fundamental part of us has its place, but what happens when we lose sight of who we are, and where we want to go? When the pleasure of others comes in direct conflict with the displeasure of Allah SWT?

In this thought-provoking episode, Idris and Abdikarrim speak from the heart on this very topic, sharing openly their own struggles in this regard, and how they are actively seeking to overcome them.

Discover how the pursuit of approval can lead to a loss of personal identity, erode self-esteem, and lead to a deterioration of one's values, and direction. With practical strategies and valuable insights, we discuss how to break free from the harmful cycle of seeking approval.

    We hope you enjoy it!

Saving My Iman

Whenever my Iman drops, and I immerse myself in music, I find myself returning to this podcast. I love how familiar they both seem, how comfortable, how they include the listeners, and how they are unapologetically Muslim. As a sister it’s relieving to see a podcast of brothers talking where I don’t necessarily feel left out or like it’s not for me (I tend to listen to Muslimah podcasts). I can’t explain how eloquently they both speak and articulately. I’m always left feeling amazing, and reflecting on life in a more beautiful way. May Allah reward these brothers immensely, and may Allah unite our Ummah in Jannah. Barakallahu feekom!!!
