I just discovered this series and holy crap. The drum geek in me of course was tickled with the Black Midi / Bruford episode but then I started queueing up episodes and it got out of hand. I can’t wait to listen and keep listening. Great stuff.

Is Tim Heidecker. Clearly he hasn’t done his homework. And he thinks he is as important if not more than Adam Curtis!

Utterly fantastic!

Fun, interesting podcast with a revolving door of artists. Because there are no hosts and therefore there’s no voice your getting used to, there’s no guarantee your going to be interested in every episode, but if your listening at work or putting it on without a bias towards the names you’ll find...Read full review »

The podcast with Nikki and Kaitlyn was a mess. It’s not my kind of humor they were spewing, but I kept listening just like people stop in traffic to turn their head to watch a car crash. It was needlessly mean at points (Ben Higgin’s girlfriend is a virgin because she looks like a virgin??) and...Read full review »

SO disappointing hearing Kaitlyn put someone’s girlfriend’s sexual history on blast. Lost so much respect for her after listening to this episode with Nikki.

Like the other reviewer said. Podcast is great, but the intro with the hosts is no good.

I love the concept of the podcast & the 5 episodes I’ve listened to were great for the most part. My only complaint is the super long intros. I don’t need the breakdown of topics or the guests bio. Maybe I’m in the minority but I mostly listen to the artist I’m familiar with. Can you please...Read full review »

i love these talks and the podcast is great. However, the first five minutes of every episode where the hosts(?) provide a complete synopsis/spoiler of the proceeding talk is absolutely unnecessary.

Love listening to real people talk about real stuff in a real way! Really!

I love this podcast and the interviews that they manage to put together. But the editor in chief intros are so unnecessary. Just two guys summing up exactly what we're about to hear. Just play the interview. I know I could just skip this part. But I just don't get why they even need to...Read full review »

A lot of these talks are beautiful. The Kim Deal and Courtney Barnett episode made me cry.

I love the format of this interview/converastion-style podcast. The Talkhouse features recording artists slightly similar backgrounds (but with very different experiences) talking about songwriting, playing, recording, and anything that comes to mind. In each episode feel like you are hanging out...Read full review »

As much as I like to hear critics' opinions about music, I truly enjoy listening to someone who plays music on a regular basis talking to someone who plays music on a regular basis. Certainly check out the podcast with Liam Wilson from the Dillinger Escape Plan and Kip Winger.Read full review »
