“I’m trying—I’ve listened carefully to all the episodes so far and will hang in there for a few more, but for me it’s missing any in-depth discussion of Christie’s work, or any new insights. In fact, Christie references have been almost missing in some of the episodes. And when an attempt has been made to discuss “all things Agatha”, it’s pretty superficial, for example, the discussion about the protagonist-narrator in The Man in the Brown Suit was limited pretty much to the host’s dislike of the character. Not interesting, and definitely not helpful in trying to better understand a charming, complex and flawed story. It’s a shame because the host and guests are fun and quirky, and capable I think of so much more. I would recommend All About Agatha for a much more satisfying delve into the Christie canon.”
