“Ted Talks Daily used to be great. Two major problems now.
The ads (at least when listening from New Zealand) are ear-splittingly loud - I always need to rip out my earbuds to save my hearing. I’d be really annoyed if I were the advertiser - I bet no one’s listening to those ads!
And, instead of the wide range of topics we used to get, now it’s almost always about either climate change or AI. I’m really interested in both those topics, but it’s too much even for me.”
