There's always a grey area in history! This episode will focus on the relationship between Black Americans and White Americans while questioning the concept of "whiteness" as it relates to American citizenship.

This episode will discuss how Black Americans have historically been excluded from the idea of citizenship through voter suppression and various forms of discrimination. These forms of discrimination persisted throughout the twentieth and twenty first century.

We can't forget the role that the youth had on American citizenship! This episode will focus on the way young Americans were integrated into an American identity in regards to education, recreation, ethnicity, and religion.
