“I found this podcast about 20 episodes in, but did not really start listening regularly until the start of the pandemic desperate to fill spare time with content. Like many watch enthusiasts I read the sites, watch the youtubers, and I wanted a different perspective.
In the world of horology journalism, you’re greeted with three types; Those with a focus on the lifestyle that may or may not have suspect affects; Those with an agenda/sales pitch, and those that are genuinely passionate about the hobby whether it’s a $300 Khaki or a $60K Datagraph. Thankfully, these two are the later.
While I originally tuned in for the reviews and guests many know, I come back because of the discussion with two people that genuinely enjoy each other’s company and like discussing watches. They do not get bogged down by the technical specs, but focus on the the topics most enthusiasts talk about amongst themselves.
I wish the best for these two and I hope they get more partnerships that will allow them to get more hands on time with some other brands. Keep up the great work.”
