Great stuff!
I saw Otis Gibbs perform when he supported Dan Baird & Homemade Sin a year or two ago. He impressed me so much that I bought a couple of cd's - excellent they are too. However, I chanced upon these podcasts a few weeks ago and I highly recommend them to anyone with even a passing interest in modern day Americana. His guests - like Ian Hunter, Bill DeMain, Todd Snider and many more - are never less than interesting and often very funny. Well done, Otis!Read full review »

i dig this podcast because Otis draws some fascinating story lines out of artists who have done some real living. Otis is low key but very smart, and he respects both the audience and the people he is interviewing. Keep it up, man!

If you are a fan of Roots music, at all, you will enjoy this show. The best part is finding that artist you've never heard and becoming a fan because, after hearing the interview you truly feel like you could be friends. Bravo, Otis.Read full review »
