I really love the content of this podcast. I know comedy is subjective. I'm just trying to figure out what's going on here with the hosts. A lot of the time I'm not sure what they're talking about especially at the beginning. I'm not a mom and I don't know many...Read full review »

But kara please stop singing the opening credits I’m begging you

I could listen to Liza and Kara talk about anything honestly. That they talk about one of the best shows ever is a bonus. Feels like hanging with friends - who are funny. Ive never re-listened to a podcast before but I have listened to these through multiple times. Since I started listening at...Read full review »

I’ve watched SVU since high school and love the walks down memory lane with this podcast! Both Kara and Liza are HILARIOUS. Highly recommend

From the gabbing, to the episode recap to the true crime… it’s my favorite. I usually skip the interviews but that’s also a great segment. These two balance each other so well. You have loud, kind of bossy and rude Liza and the very sweet yet diplomatic Kara. Bravo- please sponsor them! They’ve...Read full review »

I’m sorry but yall have got to reign it in on the pre episode chat. 20-30 minutes of non related content before you even start recapping the episode is crazy.

Love the show! I dont watch SVU but I’m a day 1 listener! I do have to speak up on behalf of my people though, lol. As a licensed therapist with a MA, anyone who has an active license to practice therapy (only MA+) is a “real therapist”… Therapists with a PhD are called Psychologists, and so...Read full review »

The pod itself is great but unfortunately the production choices, like where to place ads and to not provide professional microphones to guests, tank the listening experience. Cutting ads into the story now when they used to be between segments is extremely disrespectful to the audience and...Read full review »

This is the only podcast I’ve listened to where I actually laugh and they talk like they’re my friends. It’s so entertaining and they describe the episode so well, then I learn about real life cases I’ve never heard about and it brings such a great awareness. I love y’all so much I hope it never...Read full review »

I’ve never seen an episode of SVU… I only listen to the first 20 minutes of every episode because I worship Liza Treyger. Just wish they both had a show that was all gab minus the recap. Still a fan and will keep listening. Also, so excited for Liza at Moontower this year!!!!

the constant barrage of information about t swift has become unbearable

What I appreciate about this podcast is it feels like getting to catch up with people you’ve known for a long time. Especially if you start from the first That’s Messed Up episode and listen to all of them in order, you start to build up the lore!

Loyal listener since episode one but the long intros where Liza talks about how amazing her life and interests are have grown to be a beating. This weeks hour about the Super Bowl with the unavoidable sprinkling of Taylor Swift… Girl, bye.

I could listen to these two talk all day about anything and everything.

I stopped watching SVU 20 years ago but love this podcast. Most of all, Kara and Liza are hilarious and caring and smart. It’s like listening to grisly story time. And the interviews with working actors is really fun and not your typical talk show fare. It’s fun to hear about the auditions and...Read full review »

I love this show, it has reawakened my love for SVU, and you guys are very funny. Thanks :)

Kara and Liza are hilarious and are able to walk the delicate line between comedy and sensitivity, which given the nature of SVU can’t always be easy. I love the sometimes-snarky commentary and when the recaps veer off on tangents of tangents. When I can’t quite suppress my laughter while...Read full review »

I love this show! Funny AND smart. And they make the world a better place. And you’ll faint from laughter at the super fast clothing and hair reviews from Liza. I even taught one in my Rhetoric class. Y’all are the best.

Liza has a racist past with her tweets. She has tried to scrub the internet of it. I’m disappointed that ER gives her a platform and pretends it didn’t happen.
JohnJaneJohn via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/22/24
On its face, it would seem to be a strange format - a recap of something going on so long? Whether you’re an SVU fan, or just need a laugh with girlfriends, this show is for you. The opening is like hearing two zany friends talk about their life over coffee (or something stronger) where you...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast, Kara and Liza are great hosts and I enjoy their banter. I never listen to the interviews, but that is only because I don’t love listening to interviews on any podcast.

Even if you don’t like SVU or watch it you should listen to this podcast. Started listening at the beginning and I have become a huge Liza and Kara fan. I have seen the pod live and Liza do standup. Listening to Liza and Kara is like listening to old friends, they’re so funny and their recaps being me back to old SVU episodes I had forgotten about. I have to say the obsession with Taylor Swift is getting a little old, I’m so tired of having her white feminism celebrated on every platform.
Jaykro via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/13/24
This is my fave pod. I love love love Kara and Liza. They make me laugh, they make me think, and most importantly they make me feel less alone in the world. And now that Liza loves Taylor I am more obsessed than ever!

I had to stop listening when you went on the TS rant a year ago. Decided to check in and saw a review that said you had rescinded what you said. I don’t know why they have to talk about politics or police. These podcasters are hateful. Love SVU and love these gals.
