Sharontate ,

Thank you!

As an adjunct psychology professor teaching psychopathology for the first time I’d like to say, “thanks in advance for the material.”

Side note: swallowing a wasp sounds like a nightmare, and you still did a podcast the next day. You sir are a legend.

Love listening

I was on the road to becoming a psychologist for abnormal psychology(for criminals) until during a college class, social anxiety hit me at its worst and I have not been able to overcome it since I was 19 years old. I love relearning what I know with even more added knowledge to it! You are great with making it easy to understand!

Currently disabled for agoraphobia, social anxiety, panic attacks and borderline personality. Started before 3rd grade but was diagnosed as “separation anxiety” and on my school transcript. At 21 I had to go on disability and was so bad, I was approved quickly. I keep working on myself daily and these podcast help understand some things more.

Thank you for each episode you have made and continue to make!

Love this podcast

Dr. Colby Taylor is an excellent lecturer who breaks topics down and makes the information relatable. Listening to this podcast is fun and educational. I especially loved the recent Conspiracy Theories episode, which offers a lecture on an extremely relevant topic. Looking at Conspiracy Theories through the lens of abnormal psychology showcases how these theories easily take off in our highly individualistic society. I like that this podcast covers typical Abnormal Psych 101 subjects in addition to these "topics" type episodes. This podcast is almost like taking a great lecture course for free!
