This podcast is like a wiser more experienced mentor that you wish you had! It is packed with useful information from skilled working professionals and covers a wide range of topics that pertain to the life of an actor at all stages in his or her careeer. Each time I listen, I collect pearls of wisdom to add to my repository. This is not your average acting podcast, as it approaches the subject from a completely unique perspective. It takes the point of view that yes, we actors are artists but we are also business men and women who need to know how to navigate the business of acting. Because let's face it, in this day and age a great actor will get lost in the sauce without a great business plan. This podcast will teach you how to effectively maximize your time and focus to put you on the road to achieving your version of success. It teaches you ways to take your career by the reins and steer it in the direction of your dreams because you are the CEO of your business. You are Michaelangelo and the David that you are sculpting is your career. The podcast's host Mike Moreno is a fabulous interviewer! With an MFA and a performance background in classical works and comedy, he is knowledgeable about acting, yet in touch with the audience enough to know exactly what questions to ask. I cannot tell you how many times I've thought "I'm so glad he asked that! That's precisely what I was wondering!" He stays on topic and while the podcast is replete with information it still has an appealing, easy conversational style which manages to feel less like a lecture and more like you are grabbing coffee with a friend. I am very selective about which podcasts I listen to and I have to say this one is a winner! I highly recommend it. You won't regret it. Thank you Mr. Moreno for this jewel of a podcast!

This is a super helpful, dynamic, and smart resource. I'm so grateful to have found it. A generous podcast and a gift to actors struggling to see their dreams come to light.

A huge part of making a living as an actor, is the 'business' side of the equation. You are a product. You make that product better by taking classes, refining your craft, etc. But if that product just sits at home, no one is going to know about it or buy (cast) it.
