Adam is well-spoken and covers topics that are generally interesting (and even when the topic doesn’t interest me it usually ends up entertaining anyway). He’s an open book and offers insights to being a content creator that are fascinating in addition to his food stuff. Also, his ads are just...Read full review »

As is probably the case for most of this show’s audience, I’ve watched Adam’s YouTube channel for years and loved his direct, utilitarian approach to home cooking and his exploration of the history and science of food. If you like the show, I bet you’ll like the pod. And even if you didn’t come...Read full review »

Long time fan of his YouTube channel. I love especially when he goes scientific. I consider Adam a Food Philosopher because he goes beyond the food, he talks about why food is the way it is, and how industry and society shape the way we perceive food. Great guy. The Punkrock Capitalist

Absolutely love the show. I love things that get you to think and Adam definitely does this. True he talks about opinions and not just facts but the truly valuable part of that is that even the opinions are based upon facts, or observations. It’s not always about the what but the how and why....Read full review »

This podcast takes listeners down rabbit holes that start with food and can end up anywhere. While he isn’t afraid to get into the weeds, Adam’s experience reporting shows with his ability to make complex ideas easily understood.

I appreciate how much his personal feelings and worries and reasonings make it into the videos. For...Read full review »

I have loved Adam’s YouTube channel for ages. I thoroughly enjoy the essay quality and depth of content in his work and his lack of determination to ruin everything with too fast a pace to compensate for short attention spans. This pod is just as good.

I don’t think this podcast makes sense or should continue solo - I think it either needs a cohost or consistent guests. Adam has a nice voice and whatnot but it doesn’t make up for the qualities this podcast lacks.

I fell in love with the research based, experimental videos. Adam has a down to earth vibe and spends the time to find the how and why.
