“I found out about The Adult Chair through a CPTSD support group I am a part of. Last year I nearly ended my life. I spent a weekend in a mental health care facility, which was quite traumatic and is when I was diagnosed with CPTSD. I went into a respite care facility for two weeks over Christmas and new year which did help a lot. I sit here and write this review as I approach my 12 month anniversary when the years of trauma came to the surface. It’s been a very challenging year. I’ve had people turn their backs on me because it’s just all to hard. But I have grown so much as a person. Finding the adult chair a few months ago has helped with my recovery so much ! It’s been a real eye opener. I have always created stories and created unnecessary drama. It’s so healing to finally be able to sit in my adult and really be present. I am so grateful because now my own children can really break the cycle of living with trauma. I’m teaching them through my own experience listening to TAC. My eldest now listens regularly and I have seen a massive change in her mental state. There will never be enough words to explain the gratitude I have for Michelle and The Adult Chair. I highly recommend anyone to get on board and start listening. If you are ready and open, it will certainly be a life changer ❤️🙏🏻”
