Unable to end well
It has become clear through the first two arcs that Griffin doesn’t know how to end these off well. Both end with a generic evil that is evil because something has to be evil with little to no motivation. Balance is particularly bad with heavy exposition of Griff having to explain everything because they didn’t plan well enough through the series. Listening to the last couple mini arcs of Balance is basically an audiobook. Good goofs subpar storytelling.

This podcast marries that sweet MacElroy humor with that tabletop roleplaying action. What's not to love? Even if you are a D&D veteran, there's tons of value in hearing how noobs approach the game, and these MacElroys do it with style (and amazing sound quality).Read full review »
