The adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a brilliant series of cases. Fortunately this reading of them is very well done.

I’m German and I heard all Sherlock Holmes audios in German, which you can find on YouTube. My mum said that I should hear all audios in English. I found this podcast and if you know the German version, it is easier to understand. I have a few problems with some words, but I think that English...Read full review »

I love the Sherlock Holmes stories and there definitely deserves to be more Sherlock Holmes radio shows like the BBC Radio 4 series featuring Clive Merisson as Sherlock Holmes and Andrew Sachs as Doctor Watson

This is fabulous. I put it on my AirPods when going to sleep. I’ve never yet heard the end of any episodes! Awesome. Seriously!

Virkelig god oplæsning og gratis grundet Public Domain. Flere af historierne havde jeg aldrig hørt før

I listened on my way to and from work. The reader, at first, was not to my liking. The voices of the extras, always seems to come off as Southern American. But a few episodes in, I grew to like him. I really enjoyed the stories, but then again, they are Doyle tales.

The orator might as well be Stephen Hawking, no depth, no tone, no emotion. What a shame to waste the lack of any talent on such beguiling stories

Mark Smith does a good job of narrating these classic stories. However, because he is American he does pronounce a large number of the place names incorrectly. But you can't hold this against him, there is no rhyme or reason that Streatham is pronounced "strett-ham" rather than "streeth-ham" -...Read full review »
