    Ep 47: The Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin

    In this episode, our guest is The Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin. In November of 2019 she was consecrated as a Bishop in the Church of England and installed in Canterbury Cathedral as the Bishop of Dover with the responsibility of looking after the diocese of Canterbury on behalf of the Archbishop of Canterbury.  In 2007 she was appointed as a Chaplain to Her Late Majesty the Queen and in 2010, she became the first female appointed to the position of Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons. In November 2014, Bishop Rose became the Priest in Charge of the city Church, St Mary-at-Hill near Monument and is in wide demand as a preacher and speaker undertaking numerous engagements both nationally and internationally, as well as appearing regularly in local and national media. She is married to Kenneth, a retired prison Chaplain and they have 3 adult children.

    Ep 46: Major Nick Coke

    In this episode, our guest is Major Nick Coke who is currently the Territorial Co-ordinator for Justice and Reconciliation. Nick has been a Salvation Army officer for nearly 24 years serving primarily as a corps officer, but has also held additional appointments in Divisional Headquarters, William Booth College, and THQ where he led The Salvation Army’s work with refugees and asylum seekers. He is married to Kerry and has two children. Nick is an avid reader and loves nothing more than curling up with a good book or enjoying listening to an album from his ever-growing record collection.

    Ep 45: Rt Rev Sally Foster-Fulton

    In this episode, our guest is the Rt Rev Sally Foster-Fulton who is the current Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and has led Christian Aid in Scotland since 2016. Before joining Christian Aid Sally convened the Church and Society Council and helped advance the Church's work on human rights, climate justice and support for people struggling to overcome poverty in Scotland. She has led the Church's work with ecumenical and interfaith partners to create networks of support for asylum seekers and refugees.

    Ep 44: Commissioners Jenine and Paul Main

    In this episode, our guests are Commissioners Jenine and Paul Main who are the new territorial leaders for the United Kingdom and Ireland Territory.​ At the time of the interview they were not aware that they were going to be appointed as the new Territorial Leaders. 
     
    Paul and Jenine have been Salvation Army officers for 37 years and have served in a variety of corps appointments in England, Wales and the Isle of Man and also in Divisional and Territorial appointments in the UKI and the Caribbean Territory.  They have been married for 36 years and have two adult children, both of whom are married, serving the Lord in The Salvation Army at Peterborough and Bournemouth.  They have four young grandchildren who they love spending time with. Jenine loves reading, walking and swimming to keep healthy while Paul enjoys gardening for exercise and relaxation!  Free time is always at a premium, but they are always energised and encouraged by the weekends they spend travelling around the UKI discovering new places and meeting new people – seeing The Salvation Army in all its diversity.

    Ep 43: Steph Macleod

    In this episode, our guest is Steph Macleod. Steph is singer songwriter and worship leader based in Scotland. Steph shares the hope he found in Jesus Christ through word and song all over the world and draws inspiration from his lived experiences and freedom from homelessness and addiction. Steph’s music has featured regularly on BBC Radio 2, BBC Songs of Praise and he performs and leads worship regularly. He also has a passion for mentoring the next generation of young Christian musicians and is an activist for mental health awareness.

    Ep 42: Major Janet Robson

    In this episode, our guest is Major Janet Robson. Janet is from the Northeast of England but left her hometown of Sunderland just over 30 years ago to enter Salvation Army officer training. As she seeks to follow Jesus, Janet is passionate about all people knowing their worth to God. Her current appointment as an officer is in Scotland, a place she loves and is proud to call home. She enjoys music, walking and the lifelong commitment of following her hometown football team, Sunderland AFC.
