I wish this show came out twice a week! I love the banter and perspective that both hosts bring to the mic. Dave’s old school pragmatic approach is invaluable and Chris’ interviews and dives into firmware have been amazing. He is doing a great job of showcasing the cutting edge convergence of...Read full review »

Chris was really in a bad mood and shut Dave down several times. Not an enjoyable episode. Hey Chris, I’m sure there are many listeners like me who check the description to see if Dave is on before listening. If he’s not, I skip it.

Chris, YOUR NOT FUNNY! Your jokes are so lame, I don’t know why you think your funny but you’re not. Most of the time you just make the listener and your guest uncomfortable. Please stop.

I’ve listened to almost all of the other electronics related podcast but still consider this my favorite. Something about Chris and Dave’s on-air personalities as well as a large lineup of interesting guest interviews prevent me from getting bored with it. Keep it up Chris and Dave!

I really appreciate how much Chris and Dave give to the electronics community. I have benefited greatly on a couple of occasions when I avoided a gotcha because of something mentioned, even as an aside, on one of the shows. This is a super valuable podcast, I even like when Chris selves into non...Read full review »

Love Dave and Chris been a fan since the early days love all the in depth talks on all thing engineering. As an engineer I can’t recommend it enough. Unfortunately my wife is not a fan after being forced to listen to Dave’s voice in the car every time.

The Amp Hour is my favorite podcast to listen to. I look forward to new episodes being released weekly for my morning drive. I enjoy listening to Chris and Dave chat. The interviews can be hit or miss, sometimes they are not that electronics related. Regardless, this is the best electronic podcast.
MeiklesAndDimes via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/14/19
The Amp Hour has a lot of interesting topics in electronics. It is an easy listen if you are into or getting into electronics. There are a lot of topics where I knew a few things but a good amount of the time I am learning about things that I didn’t know I didn’t know. The Amp Hour + EEVBlog +...Read full review »

I am a relatively new engineer and listening to Dave and Chris continue to educate me in a wide range of topics. The AMP Hour is always informative and entertaining, often funny and enlightening. I rarely if ever build anything electronic and certainly don’t operate in electronics at the level these two aficionados speak to, but I very much enjoy their conversations through a wide range of electronics...Read full review »

I’ve been an electrician for the past 10 years, and made most of my money in controls for coal mines. After watching EEVblog on youtube I have come over here to hear Dave and Chris doing their podcast, I like the mix of dave ranting, and nay saying, being tempered by Chris who acts as some sort of saintly pacifier. the mix of Australian and American talk is entertaining. Very interesting and in depth podcast on electronics. Fast on debunking buzzword friendly kickstarter projects like solar roadways and wireless free energy, they also often discuss the viability of chip printers for home use. A real bobby dazzler of a podcast!

Dave and Chris have a great chemistry and work well together. They continue to have some amazing guests every other week.
