Historical truths

The authors gives historical truths through a poetic approach about the God Anansi. In which a lot of African Gods have been forgotten. Through the shackled avenue of the Atlantic slave trade. It’s so good to know that bits of the African culture and poeticism has survived .

Creative

Love the concept. Stories from the past that needed to be told for this generation. 🌍🔥.

Wade in these waters

I knew some of these histories, and others were new, but I like the spin that the host puts on them. The sound production lags what you find in podcasts from the same year, BUT the writing is so vivid and the narration is so clear and crisp that the combination paints an immersive picture. It's almost like an audio book, really.
