Great story. Too much Wondery.
Not a fan of Wondery’s brand: drawing out a story into a much longer series than necessary, blasting it with ads every few minutes. The story is fascinating. Wish another company produced it. Edit to add: The complete irony of how The Apology Line ended.. -Spoiler maybe- Paywalling the apologies. Marketing it like he was chasing a serial killer. Madison Reed commercial during funeral scene. Whew. Wondery sure knows how to take a cool story and milk it for cash.

I have listened to countless true crime podcasts . This one had me gripping the steering wheel in my car. Quite disturbing but has the effect of wanting to hear more . The interpretation of the apology line by individual callers is shocking and sad.
