More Michelle please.
This is timely and interesting. No deep dives. Mostly a back and forth between uncontroversial positions. David is an extremely polite middle. Ross is a careful conservative and proud to be a magical thinker. Michelle is careful not to belittle Ross while gently pointing out that he is a dope and why. She is in second gear most of the time but occasionally shifts into fourth and then you get something really good.

I’m a Democrat and reader of the NYTimes. I was pleased to discover how civil was the discussion among these three. Michelle is more radical than I imagined, and Ross more personable than I thought he would be. I look forward to each episode. It has enhanced my reading of the opinion page as well.

As a moderate, I see this as a good step in the right direction. The New York Times has an essential resource of both liberal and conservative columnists. I would like to hear a reasoned discussion that is focused on why the values of the Christian Right should be allowed to dictate my personal behavior as a woman. It always seems to be women.
