This Podcast is dedicated to sharing, learning, and discovering the fundamentals of Nonviolent Communication based on what I have learned from Marshall Rosenberg's classic book "Nonviolent Communication" and many of his videos. It is my intention to share what I have learned and to help those who truly want to become better communicators to avoid some of the common mistakes I see over and over when people attempt to practice NVC. It is truly an amazingly powerful way of speaking and being and I am excited to go on this journey with you.

NVC modernized

Was introduced to NVC by my therapist recently, and this podcast (among others) was recommended. I’m so glad I started with this one, as it makes the theory of NVC so relatable and easy to digest. His voice is also very easy to listen to, and the short podcasts make this a go to on my short commute. Keep up the great content!!

The best teacher on this subject!

This is the first teacher that makes NVC seem down to earth, accessible, and most importantly, doable. I’ve been hanging out on the sidelines of NVC for 2 years, listening to classes, reading books, and absorbing as much as I possibly can without actually implementing it. This guy’s got a voice that’s made for radio, his enthusiasm for the topic is infectious, and his short and to the point podcast episodes (I’m 7 in so far) make a really complex topic super simple. I’ve already received so many insights and takeaways from this podcast, like the desert island analogy for identifying feelings (“Can you experience this feeling on a desert island with nobody else around? If not, then it’s not a feeling.”) I can’t recommend this podcast enough. You’ll leave with valuable insights into NVC concepts and the motivation to finally commit to practicing it in your life. Thank you!

Simple, bite-sized, and so helpful!

I’m deep in therapy and learning to be less fearful of confrontation and my own emotions. I listened to the book Non Violent Communication and though inspired by the theory, I found it hard (impossible) to apply in real life. THIS podcast is so clear, simple, and applicable. Great voice. I feel inspired to practice, even when it’s scary. I hope there will be more episodes.
