Gripping Stuff...
Two episodes in and it’s like an East Asian Le Carre novel. Brilliant investigative journalism work from the BBC and the always likeable and relatable Owen Bennett Jones. If you have any interest in geopolitics ‘the Assassination’ is a must listen. Indeed if you have no interest in geopolitical and no nothing about Bhutto and Pakistan but love a good thriller ‘the Assassination’ is a must listen.

More reviews of The Assassination
Great beginning, but nothing new to the public yet. I do hope this addresses the long standing rumors about Asif Zardari’s involvement, Musharraf’s negligence, and the degree to which many people were complicit in Benazir’s killing.

Can’t say enough good things about this podcast! The writing, the editing, the narration, and above all the handling of the subject-matter...everything seems very meticulously put together. Out of all the BBC podcasts I listen to, this one’s in a class of its own! Well done!

Owen Bennett Jones is giving a fascinating picture of the Bhutto family and Pakistani politics, including intersections with international events. I will be anticipating each weekly addition.
