Eyore and Tigger talking about running . . . . .
. . . if when one of them didn’t run and the other suffered from gout, this would be the podcast released. Having stumbled upon this podcast 18 months ago, I was reminded of the time I discovered and watched, when I was was a teenager, a ‘special’ video (on VHS) that my grandmother had made with her ‘friends’ and much like then, I didn’t know whether to continue consuming the content or turn it off in disgust. Now, having listened to the entire back catalogue, in between staying up to date, I feel the same way as I did in my formative years . . . . undecided, confused about life choices and a little grubby! The podcast is occasionally held together by guest presenters, which is when a spotlight is shone on the shambles that is the regular fare. Not being on Facebook (evil in my eyes!), I do not have access to any further content to comment on, but it pleases me to know that there are ‘runners’ out there screwing with Mark Zuckerberg’s algorithms. Ultimately, the influence this podcast has had on my life has been profound and led me to join BBRC, my 1st running club at the age of 52. Since signing up I have not participated in any races nor have I signed up for any. All said and done, at the end of the day, all things being equal and taking each run step, by step . . . . . . I would highly recommend, if only for the amazing guests! 5 Stars!
