Highly recommend for developing better relationship habits
Natalie has offered actionable advice to break bad relationship and communication habits on her blog, in her books, and in this podcast. I first discovered her blog in 2013. All of these resources have shaped me into a more mature, thoughtful, boundaried individual with family, friends, coworkers, and in romantic relationships. Natalie sounds a lot like your inner voice of common sense. She is not critical or berating, she illuminates and asks probing questions to uncover the baggage behind unhealthy patterns of behaviour (self-blaming, projecting, suppressed anger, lack of boundaries between ourselves and others, playing it small). Whenever I feel lost or upset about a communication problem, I search for a related blog post (there will be one!). It re-anchors me. Thank you for the listen and for the energy you devote to others’ healing!
