Bernie makes his picks and offers up his final observations ahead of Saturday's Preakness Stakes.

MLB.com Cardinals beat reporter John Denton joins Bernie live from Busch Stadium courtesy of The Post Sports Bar and Grill, home of the Official Cheesesteak of The Bernie Show. John provides an update on Willson Contreras and insight into the Cardinals' decision to start Matthew Liberatore on Sunday. Before John joins the show, Bernie also reacts to Scottie Scheffler's odd arrest prior to the second round of the PGA Championship.

Bernie checks in on the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs as three second round series near their completion. He then directs his attention to the NBA with a Game 7 looming between Minnesota and Denver and back and forth series between the Knicks and Pacers.

Bernie points out how Oli Marmol is more of a victim of organizational ineptitude than anything being forced to make moves like starting Matthew Liberatore with a lack of better options in Triple-A. Bernie also points out how a quick fix like hiring Albert Pujols or Yadier Molina would be nothing more than eye candy.

Bernie explains why things may get even worse for the Cardinals as he points out signs of trouble at the plate.

Bernie chats with legendary horse racing writer Dick Jerardi ahead of the Preakness Stakes. Dick makes his picks including if Mystik Dan can repeat his Kentucky Derby magic.
