Usher Gets Raw And Spills The Tea On The Bert Show!
It's been 15 years since Usher was in the studio with The Bert Show, and yesterday he came to hang with us for an hour.
We popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate his new album, new tour, his incredible Super Bowl performance and his new marriage before we got into it. We asked him about trust issues, how much of the rumors that surround him are actually true, and how his reputation of “Mr. Steal Your Girl” was forced on him.
And when Moe asked him if he got jitters before his big Super Bowl halftime performance, Usher told us something he'd never told anyone...the performance almost didn't happen!
But before we get to all the tea, right out the gate, Usher brought up an uncomfortable moment with Bert that happened about 20 years ago...and then we realized Bert and The Bert Show was a springboard for inspiration for one of the biggest R&B albums of all time.

I wanted to give 5 stars because this is my favorite podcast! I wish the re-run episodes would be labeled so I don’t have to re-listen to the same episodes over and over when I’m looking forward to a new segment.

I’m soooo sick of hearing Abby and her dating life. Girl. The reason these men don’t wanna date you is bc you DRIP insecure and desperation!! They prob hear you on the radio and run for the hills bc you sound ridiculously desperate and boy crazy. The Taylor obsession prob doesn’t help. Also Kristin…PLEASE stop interrupting ppl mid conversation to insert a story about yourself. Sheesh!

I love listening to the Bert Show on a daily basis. Y’all be hating with the reruns, but wouldn’t we all like to be on paid vacation as frequently as them???? Exactly, so don’t hate on what ya don’t have🤷🏼♀️
