“George interviews self proclaimed Sasquatch “expert” with 40 years experience, Ken Gerhard (sp?) about the Sasquatch-Bigfoot phenomena.
I give this show a failing grade of F. Why??
The Bigfoot topic has been mainstream for about 10 years now. It’s everywhere. Program after program, the history channel, the sci-fy channel etc etc.. And it’s ALWAYS the same old scenario on those TV shows as it is here on this show. They all feature and interview these people, who know NOTHING about the topic. And although they’re self proclaimed “experts”, even beginner Sasquatch researchers with a couple of years experience, know more about the topic than ALL of these characters they choose to interview on big radio and TV programs.
There’s been a wealth of SERIOUS research, study, DNA testing, and serious papers written by PHD’s on this subject, not to mention full DNA sequencing at this point, but you will NEVER hear about ANY of that on ANY of these interviews on mainstream radio and TV. They always pick these “researchers” who are talking about stuff we’ve already known for 30 years. The same old rhetoric.
And as for George Noory’s questions? I’m not sure what’s going on with him, but years ago when he first started after Art Bell left, George did okay. But as time has progressed, his interviewing skills have disappeared. He asks ridiculous questions now days, that you’d expect to hear a child asking.
Enough about that, nor a quick paragraph about the Christmas Day show, about Bible prophecy. Another self proclaimed expert theologian, pseudo-biblical scholar, Richard Smoley. Sadly, this program and this guest, was even WORSE than the Sasquatch episode. For starters, in the guests opening remark of the show, the first words out of his mouth are blasphemous words against Jesus Christ. Now, put your personal beliefs aside for just a moment, and remember, this is the Christmas Day show. The guest condemns Jesus, he condemns the Bible, and makes absolutely ridiculous statements concerning biblical passages, and what they mean. Even if you could put aside this mans hate of Christianity and Christ, and still attempt to listen to his remarks as a self acknowledged theologian, you would soon realize that every scripture he reads, and then “interprets” for the listening audience, is completely wrong!! His knowledge on interpreting scripture is so bad, an 8th grader in a Catholic school would know more about scripture than this guy. And remember, he calls himself a “scholar & theologian”. An obviously absurd claim, that all with an ounce of biblical knowledge recognize after just a few moments of listening. And as to Noory’s questions? He asks things like, “Does this scripture mean that people have magic powers”? And other complete nonsense. All the while, the guest condemns all the Bible says, condemns as ignorant all Christians, and flat out calls Jesus Christ a liar.
And if all of that, isn’t sickening enough on its own, are you going to tell me this is the best Coast to Coast could pull together for a CHRISTMAS Day Show? You know, that one day of the year when 90% of Americans celebrate Jesus Christ’s Birth....
in closing:
After being a dedicated listener since 1995, with Art Bell, I only listen occasionally now because I find the selection of guests, and the interviews terrible. Sometimes when I do tune on, I find it sounds like a 3 hour infomercial!! Or it’s someone talking about nutrition, or politics, or anything else a hundred other AM stations are talking about all day long. Sadly, coast to coast am has not only lost its edge and its talent, it’s lost all of its interest along with it. And there was no one more upset than I am that a once great program has gone down the toilet where 95% of all other am talk radio is.”

“Every night my radio is set to Coast to Coast most of the hosts are great and most of the topics are fantastic some can be a bit scary but that’s ok with me !! Some of the callers are a bit annoying, that’s to be expected, I’ll continue to listen to this show 👍🏼👍🏼”
