Advice going forward
I am thrilled with any way to put scripture in front of people. But when the readers struggle so much with the Old Testament readings they laugh through it, I find it distracting. It shows that the readers don’t do a practice run first. This 365 was almost what I was looking for: the right translation, no commentary. But I’d prefer smoother reading, no background noise, and if I’m wishing, chronological story telling.

I love that different people read different days. Some I have to work harder to understand others less so. I love the slip ups. The Bible is chock full of imperfect, broken people used by God for His glory over and over.

This is a great undertaking and I will be listening for the entire year. However, would it be possible to find another reader when it is Gary Kuhns (doubt I’m spelling that correctly) turn to read?
