“Bill Simmons covers sports, pop culture, even some parenting and who knows what else. In his years of experience writing, TV/Radio stuff and generally being a media/sports guy, Simmons absolutely has seen it all and he brings it to the pod with great aplomb! Love the NBA focus and the fair and well-balanced criticallity brought to a lot of issues. Where else are you going to get a nice in-depth dive into the NBA and then a great talk with Aaron Sorkin? I'm a Celtics fan so the sometime obsession with Boston teams doesn't bother me, but to those who aren't, hey, he's a fan...give him some margin here. Every segment of pop culture; sports, movies, whatever has a huge conversation on who is the GOAT...usually ends up with a top-5 greatest or top 4 (Mt. Rushmore). You can make the arguement that this podcast belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of podcasts.... Nice job Bill!”Read full review »
