“Although I enjoy the information on these podcasts, I have come to realize that Mr. Simmons tends to interrupt his interviewee as they are trying to develop a topic, either to give his own take or history on the issue, or to go off on a tangent, losing any chance to get back onto the original thought. It’s often quite annoying, as I wanted to hear the original thought developed. I recognize it as I have the same tendency.
It doesn’t matter when it’s one of his usual crew, as they either are similar or have learned how to deal with this, but with someone new it really detracts from the podcast.”
