“Good afternoon Bill,
I love the cast particularly how you structure the conversation overall. It is one of the things I have most admired about you as a listener. However, I don’t always agree with your opinions as is inevitable. I took issue with a couple of your takes from Monday’s cast. I have listened to you for some time rail on the players in the nba who don’t play out their contract a la Anthony Davis or guys just taking games off. This is what’s truly wrong with the league, because it tells the fans who spend good money to go watch the games, too bad the guys you came to see are just taking the night off. Then you guys decided you goin to go after Westbrook who yes has flaws but brings it every night for that team, forget taking nights off he doesn’t take seconds off in these games. We need more of that in the nba these days before players start taking whole seasons off and really ruining this thing. The second point I take issue with is this overemphasis on harden and the offensive numbers and offensive production across the league, the nba has completely defanged defense across the board. Of course the offensive number are out of control. The redefining of the offensive and defensive foul call has completely changed the game. Ultimately, I believe to the games detriment.
