BBM Podcast Re-Air from March 4, 2024: There were plenty of times when Spencer Bivens thought his baseball career could be over, but the right-handed pitcher kept his options -- and his heart -- open to the next opportunity. That determination and drive guided him from Community College to playing overseas, independent baseball, and ultimately signing with the Giants organization. At first glance, the slim, 6'5, 29-year-old - with model looks - doesn't compare much to the fictional journeyman Forrest Gump, but Bivens journey may rival the Academy Award-winning film.
