Episode #175 Must Know Triads For Lead Guitar
In this episode I am talking you through the MUST know triads for playing lead guitar.
Triads are groups of 3 notes we use to make chords, there are four kinds of triad: Major, Minor, Augmented & Diminished. Today were looking at 3 shapes for the major triad.
This will allow you to find root notes all over the neck, identify the chord tones & use the shapes as 'jumping off' points for playing lead lines.

I’ve listened to this podcast since the very first episode. I’ve learned so much from Ben—he presents information in such a simple and informative manner.
Ben—some episode ideas:
- Classic slide licks, perhaps artist
- Turnaround variations
- Understanding timing (4/4, 6/8 etc)
