A Useful Podcast
This podcast fills a needed niche in the writing/indie writer podcast market. Right now most writing podcasts focus on how to plan/conceptualize one’s story, pitfalls to avoid, writing technique, etc. Most indie writer shows focus on learning from author interviews and how to package and market one’s work once finished. The Book Editor show concentrates on polishing and refining a finished or near finished work from an editor’s perspective. Listening to how editors think about a story, to my way of thinking, is a valuable learning opportunity. If I had any nit, it would be having a few more prepared examples on hand rather than rely on off the cuff ones that sometime get tangled when the imagination stumbles mid sentence. Still good information, and now that there is some live editing, it helps a lot to see editors thinking through a submitted story.

I get so much from this show. The emphasis, however, on science fiction and fantasy is getting a bit wearing.

Great show guys, started listening once Clark took over Alyssa's spot on Writership (another phenomenal show), and was directed here. Clark your voice is perfect for Podcasts and you and Peter are great. KEEP IT UP!
