As David Epstein said, when you follow your curiosity into something useless, often, it’s not actually useless.

More reviews of The Book Pile
The first few episodes were a little awkward but I’m so glad I stuck with it because I enjoy the back and forth, the dry humour, and the intelligent subject matter. It often makes me laugh and always makes me smile. Heard about it on the Babylon Bee.

Heard about podcast when I heard Kellen guest host another podcast, and have subsequently listen to every show, barring the most recent two, while at work over the last 2 days. They do an awesome job of taking books I would likely never actually read and actually make them appealing.

Now that I’ve binged all available episodes I’m starting to get depressed thinking about having to wait for more Book Pile. This show has taught me that book reviews are so much better without having to listen to the author tell us about the book. Now I can never go back....
