Funny, smart, not annoying
I logged into iTunes for the first time in years to leave a 5 star review for this podcast. I hope that demonstration of effort alone exhibits my love for this podcast, and why you should check it out. They summarize non-fiction books and have some humorous exchanges. I found out about the podcast because I saw a couple of Kellen Erskine's jokes on TikTok, and thought hey this guy is pretty funny why isn't he more famous. I relate to him because I am also a father who thinks he is funny. Except, Kellen is actually funny and I just tend to unintentionally offend and belittle all of my friends (I hope to change this behaviour this year). Anyway, great podcast. Realy funny. Good dynamic between the two hosts.Read full review »

More reviews of The Book Pile
These two hosts seamlessly combine intellectual topics with humor. This is exactly what I’m looking for in a podcast. My only complaint is that there is not enough of it!

It is great to hear the podcast, laugh a little, and then check off another item on your to do list. I am now ready to throw out some facts about a book I haven’t read along with some random tidbits about my life as a comedian (should I ever decide to pursue that life.) Overall, great podcast.
