“Glad I stumbled on this during lockdown. Beautifully produced with some real scary moments, they capture HPL’s sense of dread and insanity, while avoiding his gruesome racism and classism.
The cod-Suffolk pronunciation of “necronomicon” made me smile :-)
Cleverly updated to the modern day, the use of a podcast, mobiles, email, hacking etc. move the plot along and fit in with the weird milieu. There’s also some tricksy narrative to capture that sense of piecing together an horrific truth.
Can’t wait for the third series.”
