Martin Kent a.k.a 'Ace' is the guitarist and songwriter for British rock band Skunk Anansie. Skunk Anansie formed in 1994 and would become one of the biggest rock bands in Britain and Europe during the 90's. Martin is also Professor of Music Industry at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. We chatted about songwriting, how to keep a band together for 30 years, and what happened the time Lemmy from Motörhead orchestrated his stag party.

Pat Pattison is a Professor at Berklee College of Music. He he has been teaching Lyric Writing and Poetry for over 50 years. He has written four books on songwriting, one of which titled “Writing Better Lyrics” has sold more copies worldwide than any other book about songwriting.
