“This was a cynical show. The show started with basically a lot of negative characterization of Laramie and the people who live there. And then most of the show went on playing with this. At the end Laramie was off the hook and she mentions how nice the people were and how maybe her memories were not accurate. It made me a little mad that I had followed her on this cynical ride that exposed her prejudices and what she hopes are her viewer’s prejudices too.”
