Customer Reviews
👍🏻 yes!
I just listened to the conversation about Munro's "Amundsen." I really enjoyed it - the discussion as well as the story. Like Gerald, I don't like stories that are "sad and dreary" but like Maya, I actually LOVE this story, in spite of this. Kenichi and Annais did not like the story, which I found interesting considering that I agreed with their interpretation that Dr Fox was indeed a misogynist. reminds me of being back in a college literature class, listening to the interpretations of my classmates: the pleasure of my pov being affirmed, the pleasure of hearing another pov, leading me to see something I hadn't noticed before. I found the group to be very pleasant and well-spoken.I'm looking forward to participating with future episodes, as well as going back through the catalog. This is the next best thing to participating in a class discussion with other literature lovers. Thank you for doing this and I'll give some financial support soon!
