Lazy anti-anti-Trump hacks float like windsocks at Mar-a-Lago. Grifters making bank off credulous rubes.

Re-rated after hearing Andrew Klavan interview. Excellent listen as usual. Great Smiths tune as well.

It’s good to be the king. Jon Gabriel is the king of stuff.

He is witty and so humble. He’s wry in that WASPy mid-century Dick Cavett way but not at all constipated or snobby. Also, fantastic taste in music! Highly recommend!

Enjoyable content. Not sure what system you’re using, but your guests’ audio is lousy.

I listen to every one of your podcasts. I’m kinda lazy at taking the time to rate tho. I had to delete my last review in order to do another one. Is rating the same? IOW’s does it work to rate every time or does one rating work?

Jumped the shark. I enjoyed it more when you were funny.

Love the lighthearted, wide ranging discussions. Thanks, Jon!

Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering what the he’ll was going on. Please Carry on ruling all stuff.

Sweet relief. It’s just Jon now I think. Resubscribed for now.

Jon and Stephen provide a great reasoned look back on the week’s events. I love Stephen’s rants, and the more low key Jon is the perfect partner for him. I enjoy both these guys on Twitter, so was happy to discover they have a podcast. The Trump/Greenland episode was hilarious! I’m not even a big...Read full review »

Some entertaining sanity in a sea of idiocy.
@jackbrazen via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/11/19
Truly the best podcast out there. Although, I wish they would do less obscure music reviews and more bashing of the idiots calling themselves “journalists.”

Best political podcast out there. Always funny
mitch wiggins via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/07/19
These guys are great and aren’t beholden to one political side. Great music recs as well.

It’s tremendous, smart, funny, great politics. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

It is wonderful to hear someone talk about politics and culture and NOT have it revolve around the solar system of Trump and whoever is his latest leftist foil. Miller and Gabriel will lift the veil from your eyes about the utter lack of importance that governmental politics truly carries in our...Read full review »

This is hands down my favorite podcast. Stephen’s rants are so closely near my own takes on things, it’s eerie. Jon sometimes has a hard time getting a word in, but when he does it’s glorious.
Andybird07 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/15/19
My favorite podcast. It helps that I generally agree with these guys on most things though. The music recommendations are a nice plus as I’ve found some good tunes from this show. Recommendation: get Comfortably Smug on as a guest.

Generally good discussion of current political events. But listening to Ep. 35, with guest Lis Smith, it is clear that host Stephen Miller is a member of the Really Bad Interviewer Club. Like Charlie Rose, he doesn't know when to stop asking a question and let the guest answer it. Only when...Read full review »

Fantastic podcast. And thanks for the Orville Peck tip!

I’m a moderate and I think these two are legitimate and consistent with their criticisms of both parties (albeit they’re conservatives and agree with republicans more so than with democrats). I think they’re both really funny and entertaining too. The only criticism I have is that I wish they...Read full review »

Miller and Gabriel are like a lone of those unexpected “buddy” pairs - a pairing that really works. Distinct in their respective styles, they breezily build on each other’s insights and observations, maintaining an easy conversational pace. Highly recommended!

I feel like I am eavesdropping at a restaurant listening to the guys in the booth behind me. Enjoying it, sometimes wishing the one constantly laughing at his own puns (Miller) would let the other speak more. Jon has a wise philosophical mind, hope he writes a book or two. Stephen seems young,...Read full review »

I rarely review anything online or anywhere else. But this padcast is well done, topical, amusing and definiterly worth checking out. I enjoy the music recommendations as well (I write this as a 65-year old who mostly listens to classical).

Hello internet friends, I’m someone who doesn’t normally write reviews on anything (Amazon, iTunes etc) but feel like I will for these guys. I find that their commentary covers a lot of ground that from what I see, a lot of angry people should take a step back and listen to. I would say I’m...Read full review »

They can’t pronounce Mark Levin’s, Dana Loesch’s and most other people’s names. You’d think they’d know basic stuff like this. Fun to listen to for political content AND to see how many times Miller can use the phrase "kind of" in each episode. Miller also tends to say he has nothing to...Read full review »

This should be a great podcast as the subject matter — the bias and hypocrisy of the US media — is a big target. But there are two problems: 1) It can often be whiny and repetitive 2) the co-host agree with each other too much — there is little interesting discussion
Jamie43704768 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/02/19
Jon and Stephen are spot on with their commentaries. Younger voices..just sifting through the nonsense & hoopla of our politics and media. Pirates of the GOP is still my favorite episode.

Really enjoy listening to you two !
LindaGS1 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/10/19
Gabriel is insightful and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the majority of the show is his compatriot (who for some reason cannot pronounce common words) telling you about things he tweeted.

Obviously you don’t actually listen to Kristol and Sykes, they regularly criticize Democrats and the left as well as Trump and the other Vichy Republicans. Competition is one thing; but you seem to want to criticize without facts.
bapfaff via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/12/19
These guys have very well-thought out opinions, along with good senses of humor. Great musical tastes and a minimum of BS make this a must listen for me.
Wineross via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/30/18
Jon and Stephen call it like they see it. They are consistent with their Conservatarian viewpoints, and their non-political discussions are worthwhile as well.
tomtom479 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/17/18
Waddle up to the saloon for a dose of confirmation bias that will last you the rest of your life. Democrats are just whiny and have zero valid points. Everything republicans do is right because they have the power to do it. Looking for the ‘tarian’ part of this podcast.

I love Ricochet and this podcast is no exception. I enjoy listening to it. Stephen Miller is one of the funniest conservatives on Twitter and he can be good here too. I will say that some episodes, he kind of dominates with long discursive rants and Jon Gabriel hardly can get a word in. Miller...Read full review »

Gabriel and Stephen Miller (not THAT Stephen Miller) have put together my personal favorite weekly podcast. If current events, media criticism and eclectic music are your thing...you can’t do any better

I love listening to these two every week. A little bit of political wonkiness, a little bit of pop culture (music), & smart!

Great to hear some one not bootlicking Trump but also not obsequious woke bros from the left.

Really enjoying having discovered this podcast. Thx for the discussions. (Any way you can get John Gabriel a cough button, tho? Thx!)

I stumbled across this podcast while dining at a place called The Red Hen in Virginia. I wasn't able to finish my meal due to an unpleasant encounter with the manager and I left feeling quite angry. I really enjoy listening to this podcast. Many interesting topics, etc. My only nitpick is with Stephen’s constant use of “Um” when he’s talking. It’s quite distracting. Other than that, kudos!
