I feel like there can definitely be some old school , southern religious, confirmation bias thinking on this episode in particular. Especially from the main female host .

I really like Julia’s insights and I might like those of her guests IF I COULD HEAR THEM. Please get some technical advice on how to improve the sound quality so your audience gets the benefit of the expertise of all your participants.

And Good luck trying to find associated content on their web site. Example, Twitchell, Oct 2023, they refer to finding the 20-page SK document on their site. Um, Where? New subject: if you’re going to use remote/telephone interviews please use better quality equipment. Nothing worse than trying...Read full review »

Wow
I’ve listened to prosecutors since the start and I’ve never heard anything political so last reviewer is delusional. Also great podcast

More detailed analysis and discussion and no reading from a script or notes, unlike The Prosecutors. Also, unlike The Prosecutors, it doesn’t come with the behind-the-scenes Trump bootlicking baggage and the suppression of voting rights and abortion and the paranoid ramblings of a hack writer...Read full review »

I am enjoying the discussion of professionals. The lack of ranting and raving is a great plus. Difficult topics handled intelligently.

Love the perspectives from each profiler and the way the cases are covered. Even though it’s still new, it’s a well done podcast.

I appreciate that this is a professional and objective podcast without dramatization. Just the facts and analysis. I love it! It’s so interesting to hear everyone’s thoughts on the profile of the perpetrators, and when they say things I think, “I wouldn’t have thought of that, but it makes so...Read full review »

A deep dive podcast on true crime. A very cerebral, fact based analysis of cases. Can’t get enough. They leave no stone in turned when examining cases. Great job Consult. My new favorite!

I’m a state prosecutor, former police officer. I’ve been practicing law for 23 yrs. Half on the defense side, half on the prosecution side. My secret desire to be a profiler never happened, but I live it vicariously through The Consult. Keep up the good work!

The best true crime podcast for its authentic look at cases and profiles; experts from the field with actual expertise vs others those with so much speculation and sensationalism; well done.

The Consult has quickly risen to the top of my true crime podcast list. The hosts are extremely knowledgeable (they are, in fact, retired FBI profilers). Any true crime podcast listener would love this podcast. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you to the Prosecutors (another great podcast) who...Read full review »

This podcast is a true gem! I find each episode so insightful and I really trust the hosts because of their long term experiences in the field. Do yourself a favour and settle in to give this pod a listen. ‘Insightful’ doesn’t really do it justice. A fascinating glimpse of what goes on in the BAU - and the significance of a myriad details and factors in a crime scene, the victim and what we might conclude about a perpetrator from...Read full review »

This is an exceptional podcast with a winning, predictable panel analysis format. I found the recent interview with Ed Dentzel to be patience-testing and meandering, so I hope they return quickly to the usual episode content and structure. It’s why I listen to this podcast.

Stumbled upon this fantastic podcast today and I am so intrigued to hear the perspective of FBI profilers and to learn more about how they approach their work. Thanks for making this!

Just listened to the Bo Bedford episode. Sounds like a waste of time and resources to me. One less drug dealing perophile sounds like a good thing. Seems like a better use of energy would be working on recent crimes that actually matter.

I found this podcast after another podcast mentioned it. I find that it’s much better than most other crime podcasts. It’s nice to hear the stories from an educated standpoint. I didn’t realize how many questions I had from others stations. This podcast covers everything.

I appreciate how thoughtful and thoroughly you all talk thru the various elements of whichever case is on the table. Have any of you heard the podcast: Mary and Bill, an Ohio cold case? That case could use some profiling help!

I was starting to really get into this podcast . The main drag was waiting for the new rare episode . Quite surprising they decided to do 8 episodes on Robert Wone. It’s almost laughable.
