“As someone who watched a lot of medical dramas growing up (E.R., Chicago Hope etc) I’ve long been intrigued and horrified by a system that allows people to go bankrupt because they happen to get sick, or asks them for their insurance details when they’re first wheeled in to the E.R. from the ambulance. I’m only 2 episodes in so far, but it’s already giving me some insights.”
