“A great read, with one annoying feature: the reader should have been able to pronounce the foreign words. Leipzig is LIPEzig, not LEAPzig. And hearing “monsieur” constantly mispronounced is minor but a constant irritant. Same with the other French names. But I finally got to read this classic.”
