Incredible- come back for season 5 and 6!
I had already watched all the seasons of the Crown when I found this podcast and was rewatching from the start (wish you had done this for Seasons 1&2!). I have to say that listening to this and then watching the episode again was an eye-opening experience. Just hearing from, and learning about the work of, all the people behind the scenes made me appreciate a show I already loved in an even deeper way. How the wigs are made, the thought put into costumes and sets, the way the directors approached certain scenes and the actors’ processes were absolutely fascinating. The host is great and the way she interviews is lovely. Thank you for this podcast- please come back for series 5&6!!!

These podcasts are so wonderful! I just love hearing from the actors, set designers, hair and makeup artists and the wardrobe people. I also love hearing from the different directors.

Episode 2 audio is episode 3.

Completely devoid of any original or thoughtful observations. Prepare for such nuggets as “hair and make up really adds a lot”, “Thatcher was a dynamic female Prime Minister” and “This episode is rich with material”. A sad indictment of mainstream arts analysis. Don’t bother.
