Lighthearted and girly, but make it holy too
As a young stay-at-home mom, I listen to a lot of podcasts as I’m working my way through my home to tidy things up. I used to tend towards gossip-y girly podcasts as a little pick-me-up during chores to make me feel like I wasn’t home alone with no one over the age of three, and instead hanging with girlfriends and being a part of more “mature” conversations/community. Most of those shows, though, were pretty crummy - full of complaining, venting, gossip, and praising lives of mediocrity and materialism. But then Courtney started The Daily Nothings and, oh my goodness, it’s my favorite! It satisfies my desires for some good girl talk and humor , while calling me higher. I feel genuinely challenged by each episode and love how accessible the topics are and how applicable they are to daily life! Thank you for motivating this mama on her Mondays!
