I always felt that these podcasts are quite problematic as they claim to teach Stoicism but contradict a lot of it. I wasn’t planning to rate the podcasts as I usually prefer to keep my thought to myself. However, when the speaker referred to people who give low ratings as ‘crazy’ and spoke about them as if they were abnormal for holding a different perspective, it kind of triggered me to write a review. Apart from what I already mentioned, many episodes are literally bombarded with ads and references to a website where you gotta pay for everything to access it. Makes one wonder whether these people are actually Stoics or just profit seekers. It’s just problematic for me to get a protein bar ad in the middle of a Stoic podcast. I would expect it in a Sport podcast, not when talking about Stoicism though. Just my thought about the concept as a whole, I hold nothing against anyone at a personal level, so please don’t add me to your list of people you call crazy just because they gave a normal rating.

More reviews of The Daily Stoic
I’ve been reading the Daily Stoic book for over a year, and reading the daily emails as well... this is a great addition I’ve added to my podcasts to listen to on my commute... short and sweet for a coffee break as well.
